81 Snap switch US12296 1987-02-09 US4739127A 1988-04-19 Mitsutoshi Higuchi; Shinichi Hikita; Minoru Nishio; Shigeo Nakamura
A snap switch with a self-cleaning function having a switch body with a fixed contact and a movable contact for performing make-break operations. A knob, mounted on the switch body, operates a contact operation member causing the movable contact to abut the fixed contact when the knob is rotated by a predetermined rotational angle and further causing the movable contact to slide on the fixed contact when the knob is further rotated.
82 Switch control unit for operating power windows of an automobile US795119 1985-11-05 US4654487A 1987-03-31 Kenji Sawada
A switch block for automotive power windows has four seesaw switches and a push-button switch for breaking an electric circuit to simultaneously lock out the seesaw switches. The contact mechanisms of the seesaw switches and of the push-button switch are identical in structure so that they have an identical operating feel.
83 Switch for power windows US730187 1985-05-03 US4584546A 1986-04-22 Masaichi Hattori; Shigeo Hara; Shunichi Manabe
A switch to be used for a power window of an automobile or the like is disclosed. It has a switch body. A knob is rotatably axially supported by the switch body. The knob has an accommodating chamber in its inside. A presser is accommodated within the chamber and biased downward by a spring. A pair of contact blades are positioned under the presser. Each of the contact blades is formed at its central portion with a V-shaped portion and inclined surfaces extending toward the right and left directions. The inclined surfaces are further extended to form contact portions. There is formed with a step between the inclined surfaces and the contact portions, so that a first step of operation and a second step of operation of the knob can be made without mistake. Stationary contacts are positioned corresponding to the contact portions. It also has a pair of contact holders. Each of the holders has a supporting piece folded upward from its one side. The supporting pieces contact the under surfaces of the inclined surfaces. A two way solenoid is connected to the knob to attract it in the both directions.
84 Combined double switch unit US155111 1980-05-30 US4314111A 1982-02-02 Mitsuo Kobayashi
An improved switch unit for use, for example, in a motor vehicle in which a first and a second switch mechanisms are integrally incorporated together with a first and a second operating members for operating the switch mechanisms so as to reduce the space to be occupied by the switch unit on the whole, while the first operating member is arranged to be rotatable in association with the depression of the second operating member for elimination of troublesome operating procedures, with simultaneous simplification of the entire construction.
85 Double-pole single-throw switch US854136 1977-11-23 US4163132A 1979-07-31 John J. Reiter
A double-pole, single-throw electrical switch having a momentary make between a first set of contacts and a momentary break between a second set of contacts upon actuation thereof. The construction includes a box-like housing having first and second sets of normally closed contacts disposed therein, the contacts being arranged to cooperate with first and second rocker plates which are pivotally mounted within the housing. A latching mechanism and a return spring are operatively coupled to these rocker plates such that when a switch lever mounted on the housing is moved from a first to a second position, one of the rocker plates is rotated about the pivot from a first orientation to a second orientation, at which point the latch releases, and the return spring moves the rocker plate to its first orientation. During the travel of the rocker plate, the first set of contacts is electrically closed, but upon its return to the first orientation, the first set of contacts re-open. When the switch lever is subsequently thrown from its second position to its first position, the second rocker plate moves from a first to a second orientation, and upon reaching the second orientation, its latch releases, thus allowing its return spring to move the second rocker plate back to its first orientation. The second rocker plate is designed such that when it is in its first orientation, its associated set of contacts are closed, but are opened during its travel from the first orientation to the second orientation and back to its first orientation. In an alternative embodiment, the second rocker plate is modified such that the second set of contacts remain electrically closed except when the second rocker plate is in its first orientation.

A power window switch structure of a vehicle is provided to improve convenience by enabling a driver to press a knob formed a rib and by controlling a power window to raise and lower according to contact of a contact terminal. A power window switch structure of a vehicle comprises: a switch box(10), a knob(20), a contact terminal(30) and a switch rib(40). The switch box mounted hiddenly inside a vehicle door. The knob hinged both sides of the switch box is rotated according to an arc. The contact terminal integrally formed with the switch box in a lower side of the knob generates a predetermined signal controlling driving of a motor so as to raise and lower the window by the knob. In addition, the switch rib integrally formed at a lower end of the knob presses the contact terminal through upward and downward rotation of the knob.
