When a key is pressed due to a primary pressure, the first junction gets contacted with the second junction generating a first signal. And when the key is pressed due to a secondary pressure, the first junction gets contacted with the second junction as well as the third junction gets contacted the fourth junction generating a second signal. The larger a proportional value of the thickness of the second separation layer and the thickness of the first separation layer becomes, the easier it is for a user to identify a difference between the primary pressure and the secondary pressure.

本発明は、押圧によって導電性の弾性板が変形し、電気的な接点を接触させ、押圧がなくなると前記弾性板が元の形状に戻り、電気的な接触もなくなる多段動作電気スイッチに関する。本発明では、弾性板に一体的に複数のドーム部が形成されており、各ドーム部の凸方向は押圧の方向と反対となっていて、加えられた押圧によって各ドーム部は反転する。また、反転する押圧が、ドーム部ごとに異なる。また、押圧がない状態で接点との接触がないようにスペーサ部が必要であるが、第1のドーム部および第2のドーム部の外周部分に設けた傾斜をスペーサ部とする。したがって、1つのドーム部が反転するときに一時的に押圧が小さくなるため、クリック感を持たせることができる。反転する押圧がドーム部ごとに異なるので、多段動作が実現できる。また、弾性板に一体的に複数のドーム部とスペーサ部を形成しているので、スイッチ全体の小型化を図りやすい。
