A keycap module fabricated by integrated injection includes a support frame which has a plurality of interlaced rims to define a plurality of keycap installation apertures. Each keycap installation aperture holds a keycap which has four sides and four corners. Each side of the keycap and each rim of the support frame have respectively a first wall and a second wall bridged by a movable arm. The keycaps, movable arms and support frame are integrally formed by injection. Each movable arm has a fist connecting section connected to one corner of the keycap and a second connecting section connected to the first connecting section at a first bend spot. The second connecting section is extended towards a neighboring corner of the keycap and connected to one rim of the support frame.

Circuitry may be mounted on portions of the printed circuit board that extend beyond the edges of the microphone housing. The button controller assembly may have dome switches. The dome switches may have a housing that encloses dome switch components and that forms a structural internal part for the button controller. The dome switch housing structure may have tabs or other engagement features that mate with corresponding engagement features in a button member. The button member may be pressed by a user to actuate a desired dome switch.

The curved lever has one end fixedly connected to an inner wall of the casing at a position adjacent to the opening such that the button body is movably positioned inside the opening. When the button body is pressed, the elasticity of the curved lever allows the button body to move toward the inside of the casing and thereby trigger an electronic switch in the casing.

A method for manufacturing a keypad is provided. First, a patterned metallic sheet is provided. These key units have a plurality of hollow structures thereon. Then, an adhesion-enhancing layer is formed on the rear surface of the patterned metallic sheet. Next, a color layer is formed on the adhesion-enhancing layer. A protruding point layer is formed on the adhesion-enhancing layer to cover the color layer. The protruding point layer has a plurality of protruding points that correspond to the positions of the key units. Finally, a light emitting device layer is disposed on the protruding point layer. The keypad manufactured according the disclosed method has a better light transmitting uniformity.

An improved push button switch is disclosed which essentially comprises a key stem displaceable up and down in the switch mounting frame, a depressing portion fixedly secured to the key stem and a contact portion adapted to be turned on or off by depressing force transmitted from the key stem. The depressing portion is molded of plastic material integral with the key stem in such a configuration that it has resiliency which is effective in the vertical direction and extends from the side wall of the key stem. To give resiliency to the depressing portion the latter is preferably designed in the snake motion-shaped configuration extending in the vertical direction with a plurality of U-shaped bent parts formed thereon. A return spring is disposed so as to return the key stem to the original position and its upper end is engaged to an engagement portion which is located opposite to the depressing portion. The depressing portion may be designed in the cantilever-shaped configuration which extends from the key stem in such a manner as to surround a part or the whole of the periphery of the key stem. To damp bounding sound the cantilever-shaped depressing portion is formed with upwardly oriented projections which abut against the switch mounting frame during return movement of the key stem.
