81 Monolithic ceramic capacitor and method of producing the same US657997 1996-06-04 US5879812A 1999-03-09 Toshiki Nishiyama; Yukio Hamaji
Disclosed is a monolithic ceramic capacitor composed of plural dielectric ceramic layers made of a ceramic material comprising strontium titanate and bismuth oxide or the like, plural inner electrodes made of a base metal material comprising nickel or a nickel alloy, which are laminated via the dielectric ceramic layer to produce the electrostatic capacity of the capacitor, and outer electrodes as electrically connected with the inner electrodes. Each dielectric ceramic layer in the capacitor contains a reduction inhibitor, for example aMO+bMnO.sub.2 +cB.sub.2 O.sub.3 +(100--a--b--c)SiO.sub.2 (where M is at least one of Mg, Sr, Ca and Ba; and a, b and c each are, in % by mol, 10.ltoreq.a.ltoreq.60, 5.ltoreq.b.ltoreq.20 and 20.ltoreq.c.ltoreq.35). In producing the capacitor, the laminate of dielectric ceramic layers may be fired in a neutral or reducing atmosphere without being reduced.

84 Keyboard switch assemblies having two foot support legs on dome-shaped contact member US576694 1975-05-12 US3967084A 1976-06-29 Walter R. Pounds
A keyboard assembly includes an insulative substrate upon which are carried a plurality of conductive paths. Respective portions of the paths are selectively bridged upon depression of a dome-shaped conductive resilient contact element. A pair of space-opposed regions of the dome's marginal portion are deformed downwardly away from its apex so as to constitute a pair of space-opposed feet. The feet have a complex shape which leads to high lifetime of the dome. Preferably, the feet rest on corresponding conductive pads, and the pad pairs for adjacent domes may be differently oriented so as better to accommodate the passage of leads between those domes. Leads on the substrate passing beneath dome edges desirably are depressed into the substrate. Overlying the domes in a completed assembly is a layer of deflectable insulating material that is adhesively affixed to the substrate and to the domes; the latter includes an aperture in registry with each dome but of a diameter smaller than the width of such dome. Advantageously, the adhesively-coated layer also is utilized for the purpose of picking up individual domes from a magazine and transferring them to their assigned positions on the substrate.

98 Engine stopping device JP25157892 1992-09-21 JPH06101615A 1994-04-12 KUBOTA YOSUKE
PURPOSE: To miniaturize and simplify a whole device by dispensing with a connection between an engine stopping circuit and an engine stopping switch. CONSTITUTION: The rubber-made inner side case 2 is mounted on the inner side of an outer side case 1; a base member 6, in which a switch electrode 7a, between an engine stopping circuit part and an engine stopping switch part, is integrally provided, is built in the inside of the inner side case 2; and the lower side is sealed by packing hardening insulating member 9. A switch contact, to be mounted opposite to the switch electrode 7a, is adopted as a pressure sensitive conductive rubber 4, and moreover an inversion spring 3 is interposed on the pressure sensitive conductive rubber 4. The switch electrode 7a and the engine stopping circuit part are integrally provided on the base member 6, consequently a connection is eliminated to realize the miniaturization and simplification of a whole device. The switch contact, provided oppositely to the switch electrode 7a of the engine stopping switch part 7, is formed by the pressure sensitive member 4, consequently a metal contact part is eliminated to improve durability. PURPOSE: To secure the output and the input of the air inside a saucer spring and to obtain a high operating feeling by raising a part of the saucer spring from the surface of an upper switch sheet and forming a clearance to exhaust the air between the saucer spring and the upper switch sheet. CONSTITUTION: This switch furnishes the upper and the lower switch sheets 2 and 3 to maintain a pair of contacts 1, a spacer 4 to give an interval to the pair of contacts 1, a saucer spring 5 which can be turned over to contact the contacts 1, a spacer 6 to position the spring 5, a chip 7 to float one end of the spring 5 to install to the spacer 6, and a surface sheet 8 to protect the whole switch and to display the switching position. And when the convex side of the saucer spring 5 is depressed, the air in the spring 5 is raised at one end by the chip 7 and the air is exhausted rapidly from the clearance between the spring 5 and the sheet 2, making the turnover of the convex side of the spring 5 surer. By installing the spring 5 while lifting its one side in such a way, the input and the output of the air in the saucer spring 5 is made more secured, and a high operating feeling can be obtained.
