PURPOSE: To constitute a basic structure of a bridge and a nose member which is an accessory of the bridge, and to attachably/detachably support an interexchageable lens by combining a bridge member including the nose member, a lens attachably/detachably fixed to the bridge member, and a sidepiece attachably/detachably fixed to the lens. CONSTITUTION: A pair of lenses 16 is attachably/detachably attached to the bridge member 1, and the bridge 12 is a complex structure body constituted of the nose member 14 having the bridge element 22. An integrally attaching means constituted of an inside boss 34 and an outside boss 42 is provided, also an aperture part 58 is provided on the inside edge of the lens 16, a corresponding stud 28 is received, and the lens is positioned. A sidepiece assembling body 80 is attached to the lens 16 and includes an attachable/detachable hinge 82. Thus, the members 12 and 14 are provided as the basic structure, and a lens having a different type from that of the lens 16 can easily substitute for the lens 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO

A lens for spectacles having at least one side thereof coated with a surface layer in a predetermined pattern so that transparent portions will be left on the lens. The transparent portions should have such an area that the light transmission rate will be larger than a predetermined value. The surface layer may be made of a fluorescent material, a light absorbing material or a light reflecting material. An interface layer such as a light absorbing layer may be interposed between the lens body and the surface layer. A protective layer may be provided on the surface layer. The lens may be made by bonding two half lenses with surface layers sandwiched therebetween.

148 Production of decorative sheet for color spectacle frame JP1888885 1985-02-01 JPS61177425A 1986-08-09 YAMADA MAMORU
PURPOSE:To stick securely a decorative sheet onto the outside surface of a frame by forming a plating layer and an intervening film between a coated film and decorative sheet. CONSTITUTION:A liquid prepd. by incorporating about 1-1.5 ratio epoxy vinyl modified resin and slight stabilizer into, for example, a solvent mixture is coated atop 13 the coated film 12 and is dried to form the thin transparent intervening film 14. The film 14 adheres tightly to the film 12 or the plating layer to provide the secure degree of adhesion even if the top surface 13 of the film 12 is smooth and flat. The paint prepd. by using the epoxy resin as an essential component and kneading the curing agent, pigment, metallic powder, etc. therewith is vacuum-defoamed and is coated on the film 14, then the coating is dried. Thus the film 14 connects the decorative sheet 14 and the coated film 12 or the plating layer to each other, thereby preventing the exfoliation of the sheet 10.

152 Method for fitting jewel for decoration or the like to frame or temple of spectacle JP17770883 1983-09-26 JPS6068318A 1985-04-18 SAITOU JIYUNICHI
PURPOSE:To fit a jewel for decoration, etc., to an optional part easily and to prevent them from falling out and being lost by putting the jewel in a case and fixing it to a frame, etc. CONSTITUTION:The metallic case 1 has an U-shaped longitudinal section and is equipped with pawls 2 at the opening part in one body. While the jewel 3 for decoration is fitted in the case 1, the pawls 2 are folded inward respectively to fix the jewel. A recessed part 5 is formed in the frame 4 of a pair of spectacles, and the case 1 after an adhesive is applied to the outer surface is fitted in the recessed part 5 and fixed by curing the adhesive. Consequently, the jewels, etc., are fitted to the optional part of the frame or temple extremely easily. Therefore, mass-production is possible and the jewel is never lost by falling.
153 Ornamental article member JP22021582 1982-12-17 JPS59135421A 1984-08-03 KUZE TAKASHI
PURPOSE:To obtain a member for ornamental articles by using an Ni alloy, Au alloy and Cu alloy in forming the surface part of an outside material and using powder assemblage for the core material. CONSTITUTION:The surface part of an outside material is formed of an Ni alloy, Au alloy and Cu alloy and the core material is formed of powder assemblage. Mineral powder such as, for example, MgO, Al2O3 or the like is used preferably as the powder for the core material for its lightness. The outside member is formed by joining a different material such as, for example, a Ti alloy on the inside surface of said surface part. It is further possible to embed a strength reinforcing body in the powder assemblage and the strength and elasticity are thus improved. Such member for ornamental articles satisfies the strength, toughness, designability and processability required in the case of forming, for example, a spectacle frame, and meets fully the requirement for the reduction in weight.

159 COMBINED GLASSES STRUCTURE, FRAMELESS GLASSES, HALF-FRAME GLASSES AND FULL-FRAME GLASSES EP16902204.3 2016-09-29 EP3364234A1 2018-08-22 LIN, ZHeyu; SHANGGUAN, Qunyan

A combined glasses structure, comprising a lens component, two temples (2), a frame component and a nose pad component. The lens component comprises two lens (11) and a bridge (13), two temples are respectively detachably connected to the lens component; the frame component comprises an upper frame (41) and a lower frame (42), the upper frame and lower frame are respectively detachably arranged on an upper and a lower edge of the lens component; the nose pad component and the bridge are detachably connected to each other, and can restrict and fix the upper frame and/or lower frame arranged on the upper edge, lower edge, upper and lower edges of the two lens. By means of the detachable connection between the frame component and the lens, the frameless, half-frame (upper frame or lower frame) and full-frame functions of the combined glasses can be achieved. When one needs to perform various activities, the upper frame and lower frame in the frame component can be detached or combined to meet requirements. A consumer can obtain the frameless, half-frame and full-frame functions with just one pair of glasses, which can reduce costs. In addition, the present invention has a simple structure allowing for easy combination and detachment.
