PURPOSE: To provide beautifulness and ornamentation and to display functional properties by simultaneously inlaying plastic materials into the passages of a plate. CONSTITUTION: A frame 1 is provided with a front element 2 having a nose 3 and a side element 4 is rotatably connected to the nose 3 through a hinge 5. An ornament 7 is combined with an end part corresponding to the nose 3 and the element 4. Cradles 8 are projected from the ornament 7 constituted of a molding plate to the side direction and a core is projected in the longitudinal direction. Passages constituted of a series of four parallel grooves 10 extended in the longitudinal direction are formed on the outside of the plate 7, the two inside grooves 10 are extended over the whole length of the plate 7 and the two outside grooves 10 have short length. Since the grooves 10 are occupied by the plastic material constituting the element 4 and an inlaying effect capable of improving the joint of the plate 7 with the element 4 is displayed, beautifulness and ornamentation are provided and functional properties are displayed. 106 Production of decorative sheet for color spectacle frame JP1888985 1985-02-01 JPS61177426A 1986-08-09 YAMADA MAMORU
PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness between a plating layer and coated film by incorporating a liquid mixture composed of an epoxy vinyl modified resin and stabilizer at 1-15% into a paint. CONSTITUTION:The solvent mixture prepd. by kneading a curing agent, pigment, metallic powder, etc. with an epoxy resin and incorporating further a component to constitute a binder having the high adhesiveness to the coated film 12, i.e., epoxy vinyl modified resin and slight stabilizer is mixed with the above- mentioned paint at 1-15% ratio and after the paint is thoroughly kneaded, the paint is vacuum-defoamed. The defoamed paint is coated atop 13 the film 12 and is dried to form a decorative sheet 10. The exfoliation of the decorative sheet from the outside surface of a spectacle frame is thus obviated.
107 Ornamenting method of metallic frame for spectacles JP28117184 1984-12-29 JPS61159620A 1986-07-19 MINEGISHI NAOKO; IIMORI TADASHI
PURPOSE:To ornament the surface of a metallic frame body made of titanium or high tensile aluminum alloy for spectacles so as to have good adhesiveness and excellent durability without corrosion by coating the surface thereof with an ABS resin and metallizing the same. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the metallic frame body 1 made of the titanium or high tensile aluminum alloy is roughened and the ABS resin film 2 is formed on the surface. The surface of the film 2 is subjected to metallizing such as chemical plating, vapor deposition, sputtering vapor deposition and thermal spraying of metal, etc. to form a metallic film 3 thereon, by which the surface is ornamented.

PURPOSE:To make beautiful ornamentation possible by forming a pure aluminum film on the surface of a metallic frame body made of a high tensile aluminum alloy for spectacles and forming an anodically oxidized film thereon. CONSTITUTION:The pure aluminum film 2 is formed on the surface of the metallic frame body 1 made of the high tensile aluminum alloy for spectacles. The film 2 is then subjected to an anodic oxidation treatment to form the anodically oxidized film 3 thereon. The film 3 is subjected to ornamentation.
109 Decorative working method of glasses frame JP11364584 1984-06-01 JPS60257422A 1985-12-19 KASASHIMA YUTAKA
PURPOSE:To provide a decorative material consisting essentially of a resin by forming closed space parts with a frame and charging the resin or the like into these space parts and using a passing light to bring about a peculiar pattern formed with the resin, a metallic powder, etc. CONSTITUTION:Rubber plates 20 are applied to lower side faces of the frame forming spaces 13, and a paint is charged into spaces 13. Since air penetrates the paint when a hardener, a metallic powder, erc. are mixed into it, the paint is defoamed in a vacuum vessel. In the defoaming process, <=30 deg.C is desirable for the purpose of bringing about a beautiful pattern. Natural hardening or thermal hardening is used as the hardening means thereafter; and since both faces after hardening are slightly rugged, they are polished by a buff or the like to smooth them.
110 Ornamental working method of spectacle frame JP8504484 1984-04-25 JPS60227224A 1985-11-12 HORI HITOSHI
PURPOSE:To obtain a product having excellent designability by spraying relatively large paint particles to the outside surface of a spectacle frame over the entire area thereof or part thereof by each of prescribed colors to form a rugged surface and polishing the painted surface after drying. CONSTITUTION:Various paints 12-14 (the same with multicolors) consisting of relatively large particles are successively sprayed by each of colors to the outside surface 15 of the spectacle frame 11 over the entire area or part thereof. The surface is polished by using a buff, etc. in such a way that some recesses 16 remain to form nearly a uniform flat surface as the final stage after drying. The easy coloring of the spectacle frame with excellent designability is thus made possible.
111 Decoration working method to frame of spectacles JP6974084 1984-04-06 JPS60212722A 1985-10-25 SASAKI SHIGERU
PURPOSE:To peel off easily a mount of a transfer paper after a prescribed time has elapsed, by sticking the transfer paper to a working part on a frame made of plastic to which a decoration working is performed, fixing a sponge body onto the transfer paper by an inserting and holding tool, and thereafter, putting the working part into hot water or vapor. CONSTITUTION:A transfer paper 3 to which a prescribed picture pattern has been put is stuck to a working part 2 on the surface of a frame 1 made of plastic to which a decoration working is to be performed, a sponge body 4 is wound onto this transfer paper 3 and also fixed by an inserting and holding tool 5, and thereafter, the working part 2 is put into hot water or vapor, and a mount of the transfer paper 3 is peeled off after a prescribed time has elapsed. As for the transfer paper 3 stuck to the working part 2, the whole surface is pressed uniformly against the surface of the frame 1 by an inserting and holding action of the inserting and holding tool 5 which has interposed the sponge body 4. In this way, an adhesion failure of a picture pattern onto the surface of the frame 1 can be prevented, and since the sponge body 4 has a water permeability and a gas permeability, the time required for peeling off the transfer paper 3 can be made remarkably shorter than usual.
112 Method for displaying character or the like on core of bow of spectacle with colored material such as resin paint JP13398583 1983-07-22 JPS6026314A 1985-02-09 SAITOU JIYUNICHI
PURPOSE:To display characters, patterns, etc., directly on the bows of spectacles with colored material by forming recessed parts or holes in the external side surfaces of the bows and charging the colored material, and embedding the cores in center parts of resin as the blank material of the bows. CONSTITUTION:A hole 2 which runs from the external side surface to the internal side surface 1b is formed in the external side surface 1a of the core 1 of the bow of spectacles, and the colored material 3 such as resin paint is charged in the hole 2, and dried and caked. Parts (slanting-line part) 3a and 3b of the caked colored material 3 which project from the surfaces 1a and 1b of the core 1 are ground to nearly the same level with the core. Then, this core is embedded in the center part of transparent or translucent resin as the blank material of the bow. Consequently, the display on the core 1 using the colored material results in that the colored material provides an elegance sense of beauty when the bow is completed, and the sense of beauty of the bow is improved to increase the article value.
