PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental molded article which is not liable to elute bisphenol A that may cause an endo crine disrupting action, has excellent safety, and can satisfy necessary physical properties required for dental temporary coating crowns, denture bases, artificial teeth, dental corrective tools and the like. SOLUTION: This dental molded article used in an oral cavity and having a prescribed shape is characterized by molding a copolyester resin comprising polyethylene terephthalate(PET) units and poly-1,4-dimethylenecyclohexane terephthalate(PCT) units. The resin has a characteristic to give molded articles having high transparency and mechanical properties by various molding methods (injection molding method, compression molding method and vacuum molding method), because of being modified into an amorphous form with the 1,4- cyclohexanedimethanol(CHDM) differently from general PET. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook assembly for dental correction which is placed so that the hook is in contact with the inner surface of a patient's mouth and the patient might feel uncomfortable without an elastic material attached to the hook.
SOLUTION: This dental corrective device has a bracket, arch wires and a hook 40 to receive an elastic member. The hook 40 can be moved from a first position where the elastic member is not placed around the hook 40 to a second position where the elastic member is placed around the hook 40. In one operation condition, this dental corrective device has a clamp 20 which is rotatable around the arch wires, a tube 30 connected to the clamp 20 and to the hook 40, and a second wire connected to at least either the tube 30 or the bracket.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pouch-type improved packaged object with an orthodontic arch wire packaged wherein an area for printing characters is large and opening is easy. SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a first sheet 12 of a pouch 10 extends beyond a second sheet 14 to provide an additional area for printing characters. In another embodiment, the pouch includes a tamperproof indication and a re-sealable section for allowing the pouch to be reused. Further in a yet another embodiment, perforations extend across the pouch and also extend across an arch wire 44 included in the pouch, so that when the pouch is opened along the perforations, the arch wire can be held by a tool such as tweezers without a user touching it. |

PURPOSE: To provide aesthetically excellent dental materials which resist corrosion and discoloring and are not conspicuous and broken by surface treating conventional alloys.
CONSTITUTION: A dental bracket and a dental steel wire 1 which serve as dental materials use stainless steel 2. The surface of the stainless steel is plated with three layers of single metals comprising silver 3, platinum 4 and gold 5 arranged in that order and then thermal diffusion annealing is carried out at heating temperatures of 200 to 500°C for ten minutes and the three plating layers are converted to a ternary alloy by thermal diffusion to provide an ivory aesthetic tone.

PURPOSE: To simply eliminate any joint-joining error by selecting a measuring plate corresponded to an appropriate aid measuring plate among the sets corresponding to the aid measuring plate sets of the measuring plate and grinding a model in accordance with this measuring plate.
CONSTITUTION: For the toothed upper jaw model 1 for human use, a negative impression is first taken out of the upper jaw 1 with an impression spoon and an impression material possible to be hardened, then, the positive upper jaw model 1 is made. The upper jaw model 1 is made so that a well-formed jugum end 2 is formed on the both pharynx side ends. In the subject, the jugum edge 4 of the measuring plate 3 is pressed onto the jugum end 2 and onto the teeth- formed section 5 of the model at all other points. If the measuring plate 3 deviates from the objective alignment agreed with the join-joining surface ideal to the patient, the teeth-formed section 5 of the model 1 causing a deviation is ground or stacked up till the objective alignment is achieved. The aid measuring plate 7 is then used to make an impression that is treated continuously likewise. This can easily eliminate any Joint-joining error.

PURPOSE: To safely position and fix a system into a mouth without setting a period by preparing a plate opened forward, a holder for holding a tablet individually, a holding side wall for maintaining the tablet to be contacted with a front wall, and a means for preventing from movement of the tablet from the holder.
CONSTITUTION: A holder 10 consists of a band 20 to be hung on a teethrow and a holding part R. A tablet 100 is held between both holding side walls with tablet touching a front surface of the holder. In order to fix the tablet 100 to the holder 10 surely, a plate 30 is equipped with one pair of holding posts 50 having knob-form projections 58. A ligature band 200 is inserted into the holder 10 and pulled between knobs 55 in order to hold it. When a roral fluoride tablet 100 is wetted in a mouth and fluoride contained in the tablet is discharged, the ligature band 200 is removed and a new tablet 100 can be inserted in the holder 10. Thus, the holder 10 can be remained in the mouth for a necessary period according to a required dental treatment.

A flexible dental retaining splint which is disposable in a channel extending between adjacent teeth, the retaining splint being formed of a wire core with a wire coil being wound about the core with the turns of the coil being in a juxtaposition. Wire loops are formed at both ends of the wound core. The splint can also be formed with several sections of wire cores each surrounded by a wire coil and having a wire loop connecting adjacent sections. The loops function to anchor or secure the splint in the channel, either by the inlay material or pins passing through the openings provided by loops. |
