61 COMBINATION DISCUS LOCK ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME US13789301 2013-03-07 US20130312465A1 2013-11-28 Peter Schmidt; Kurt Kemppainen
The present disclosure describes combination discus locks and associated methods. A lock device configured in accordance with a particular embodiment of the present disclosure includes a discus lock housing, a locking mechanism positioned in the lock housing, and a plurality of rotatable wheels operably coupled to the locking mechanism. The rotatable wheels can individually have a plurality of indicia used to display a combination. The locking mechanism can be configured to move from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration when the combination is displayed. The lock device can further include a shackle and a slider actuator positioned on an outer surface of the lock housing. The slider actuator can be operably coupled to the shackle and to the locking mechanism, and can be configured to drive the shackle from a closed position to an open position when the locking mechanism is in the unlocked configuration.
62 Mechanical pushbutton locking arrangements US12961935 2010-12-07 US08555686B2 2013-10-15 Glenn P. Meekma; Jerry Smith
A lock includes a housing, a keypad disposed on the housing, and a latch assembled with the housing. The keypad includes a plurality of button assemblies, each including an axially depressible button member including a camming surface, a lock wheel having a plurality of camming teeth, and a latch releasing feature secured to the lock wheel for rotation therewith. Pressing the button member causes the camming surface to engage one of the plurality of calming teeth, thereby incrementally rotating the lock wheel between a plurality of rotational positions. When the button members of a predetermined one or more of the plurality of button assemblies are depressed a predetermined number of times, the latch releasing features of each of the plurality of button assemblies align with a plurality of blocking features of the latch to permit lateral sliding movement of the latch from a locked condition to an unlocked condition.
63 Linkage lock US13046222 2011-03-11 US08555682B2 2013-10-15 Christopher Trunek
A linkage lock includes at least a plurality of elongated links capable of being arranged in a substantially tubular configuration; wherein each link has a longitudinal axis extending therethrough and at least one pivot disposed at the ends thereof configured to allow rotation about an axis in substantially orthogonal relation to the longitudinal axis; wherein at least one link is configured to be separable from the remainder of the linkage lock.
64 HIGH SECURITY COMBINATION DISC PADLOCK US13731277 2012-12-31 US20130205844A1 2013-08-15 Karl Lai
The present invention is directed to exemplary embodiments of a combination disc padlock that may include a housing, a shackle positioned within a portion of the housing, the shackle having a curved shape with a first end that is never released from the housing and a second end that may be exposed from the housing when the padlock is in an unlocked configuration. The padlock may include a mechanism or other structure formed on or connected to the shackle that facilitates movement of the shackle between a closed position and an open position. The padlock may include a reset mechanism that prevents a user from accidentally changing a combination code of the padlock when the padlock is in the unlocked configuration, thereby requiring that the padlock be put into a reset mode in order to change the combination code.
65 Lockable enclosure US12886855 2010-09-21 US08375751B2 2013-02-19 Dean D. Hacker
A locking arrangement includes a latch assembly, a locking mechanism, and a user operable opening member. The locking mechanism holds the latch assembly in a latching position when the locking mechanism is in a locked condition and allows the latch assembly to move to an unlatching position when the locking mechanism is in an unlocked condition. The opening member is movable from a normal position to an opening position. When the locking mechanism is in the unlocked condition, movement of the opening member to the opening position moves the latch assembly from the latching position to the unlatching position. The opening member is operatively connected to the latch assembly by a compressible member, such that when the locking mechanism is in the locked condition, movement of the opening member to the opening position compresses the compressible member without moving the latch assembly out of the latching position.

A lock having a body, a face, a shackle and an audio and/or a visual system. The audio system includes a speaker system and a controller, and the visual system includes an indicator light and a controller. The systems also employ a battery and a battery indicator light, e.g., an LED, indicating when the battery needs to be replaced. The audio system emits an audible sequence and the visual system emits a light sequence when the lock is unlocked, reminding a user to lock the lock.
68 Keyless locking device US11052423 2005-02-07 US07080530B2 2006-07-25 David J. Haas
A locking device having a cylindrical plunger and a cylindrical sleeve for releasably and rotatably receiving the plunger, the sleeve having an open top portion, and a bottom portion. A keyway is provided axially disposed along the length of one of the plunger or sleeve, and a lip circumferentially disposed around the same plunger or sleeve. A key is also provided on the other of the plunger or sleeve, the key slidably mating with the keyway. A spring member is disposed within the sleeve and is compressed when the plunger is inserted into the sleeve biasing the plunger out of the sleeve. To lock the device the plunger is inserted into the sleeve, the key sliding along the keyway through the lip, the plunger compressing the spring member, and then the sleeve and plunger are rotated with respect to each other and released, the spring biasing the plunger out of the sleeve and locking the key onto a surface of the lip. To unlock the device the sleeve and plunger are pressed together, the plunger compressing the spring member, and rotated with respect to each other until the key and keyway are aligned with each other, the spring biasing the plunger out of the sleeve. The plunger is then removed from the sleeve, the key sliding along the keyway through the lip.

70 Combination padlock US45442074 1974-03-25 US3894415A 1975-07-15 BAKO LAZLO
A combination padlock of the single dial type is constructed so that manipulation of the shackle enables changing or setting the combination, thereby eliminating additional elements to accomplish this function. The padlock employs a floating fence member which acts as a single or double lever on different occasions. A key-actuatable bolt cooperable with the fence member enables the padlock to be opened by a key.

The knob lock of the present invention includes a knob, a first driving unit disposed on the knob, a driving barrel, a second driving unit, a lock unit, and a lock core. When the lock core is in a locked state, the driving barrel is restricted from rotating by the lock core, and the knob rotates alone with respect to the driving barrel. When the lock core is in an unlocked state, the restriction to the rotation of the driving barrel by the lock core is removed, the first driving unit applies a driving force on the second driving unit when the knob rotates, and the driving force rotates the driving barrel to make the lock unit rotate together.
79 Electronic combination lock with different levels of access control US15700502 2017-09-11 US20180025564A1 2018-01-25 Karl LAI
A mobile device, such as a mobile phone, is configured with an application icon on the device display for communications with a combination lock through a wireless signal. The wireless signal includes information indicative of a combination code for operating the combination lock at one of a plurality of access levels, wherein the access levels define the number of access times for unlocking the combination lock. The display is arranged to allow a user to enter a password to unlock the combination lock and, if the user is an administrator, to change the combination codes and the access levels.
80 ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELDING LOCK BOX US15475758 2017-03-31 US20170208711A1 2017-07-20 YAO-KUN YANG
An electromagnetic shielding lock box comprises an openable and closable box body. The box body is defined an accommodating groove, made by electromagnetic shielding materials, and has a lock unit and a hooking member. The box body is closed for receiving at least one key while the lock unit is in a locked status and for shielding the transmission of at least one electromagnetic wave signal due to the electromagnetic shielding materials. The lock unit is further limited the hooking member to be locked to the box body. The box body is opened for taking the at least one key out while the lock unit is in an unlocked status to unlock the hooking member from the box body.
