A process for the production of a fabric made of super-extra-fine yarns of high-quality animal fibre, which may not otherwise be produced industrially, includes spinning single-ply or double-ply extra-fine yarns (1), consisting of an intimate blend of high-quality animal fibres and water-soluble synthetic fibres; doubling said extra-fine yarns (1) with respective water-soluble yarns (2), weaving the doubled yarns (3) and dissolving said water-soluble synthetic fibres and said water-soluble yarns (2) by means of a slightly acidic aqueous solution at the temperature required for the dissolution to obtain fabrics consisting of super-extra-fine yarns (1') of pure animal fibres only.

11 Process for the production of a textile in extra-fine animal fibres which are not industrially weavable, by the use of continous water-soluble synthetic filaments EP08102250.1 2008-03-04 EP1967622A3 2008-10-08 Geraldini, Jacopo

A process for the production of a textile in extra-fine animal fibres which are not industrially weavable comprises the following succession of stages:

a) spinning of yarns (1) containing extra-fine animal fibres;

b) doubling of each of said yarns (1) with a respective continuous synthetic filament (2), soluble in a slightly acidic liquid solution at high temperature, said doubling being executed with slight twisting in a direction matching that of said yarns (1);

c) weaving of the doubled yarns (1) and filaments (2);

d) dissolution of said synthetic filaments (2) by means of a slightly acidic liquid solution at high temperature.

A soft textile, substantially with a notable reduction in the "peeling" effect, is thus obtained, made up only of yarns (1) of extra-fine animal fibres, and in particular of cashmere, not industrially weavable.

A method for manufacturing silk fabric represented by a design and the silk fabric thereby are provided to decrease a manufacturing cost in a silk fabric manufacturing and prevent cloth difference in whole design expression. In a method for manufacturing silk fabric represented by a design, a silk textured yarn is obtained by performing a pre-treatment to have a chemical property which increases dye adhesion and thread polishability of silk thread. The method comprises the following steps of: weaving a silk yarn with the silk thread with a doubled faced type; manufacturing in-between processed silk cloth expressed with a silk processed yarn on a surface; and manufacturing the silk fabric having one color.

The process for making a fabric by a first thread comprising natural and/or artificial and/or synthetic and/or mineral fibres, either pure or mixed with each other, consists in making a third thread twisting the first thread with a second thread made of fibres soluble in an environment wherein the first thread is not soluble, weaving the third thread making a fabric and then, immersing the fabric in a bath for dissolving the second fibres and obtaining the fabric composed of the first fibres only. Afterwards, the bath is warmed and acetic acid is added for imparting an acid PH to the bath. Advantageously, the bath is heated to a temperature of 50°C ± 10%, and the acetic acid is added to obtain a bath with a PH equal to about PH 5.5. The finding also relates to a fabric made by such method.
