Extensive lists of suitable base stocks and perfluoro alkylene ether-containing compounds are given; those used in the examples are CF 3 CF 2 -CF 2 -O-CFHCF 3 and dibutylphenyl phosphate, tetraisopropyl silicate N - methyl - N - butyl - N1 - methyl - N1 - butylphenylphosphorodiamidate, and a mixture of hydrocarbon oil, o-xenyl diphenylphosphate and m-dibromobenzene. The base stocks can contain viscosity index improvers and other additives such as aromatic mercaptans and epoxidized hydrocarbons.

Thus, the lubricant is especially effective when used in automobile or household air conditioners, refrigerators, etc. having high industrial usefulness.
