The second member defines a hook disposed near an end of the second member. The device also includes a threaded screw protruding through the first elongate slot and the second elongate slot, and a retaining nut in engagement with the threaded screw to clamp the first member and the second member thereby securing a relative position between the first member and the second member.
44 Picture frame hanger US14479790 2014-09-08 US09107520B1 2015-08-18 Laurence Davies
A frame which has a wire extending across a rear of the frame is hung on a wall by an integral flexible spring member shaped to define a center mounting plate fastened to lie flat on the wall and a spring strap standing at right angles to the plate with a pair of arms each extending outwardly from the mounting plate along the wall to a respective side of the mounting plate. The arms receive and locate the wire extending along the arms and depending from ends of the arms to the sides of the frame. The arms can flex and the arms allow longitudinal movement of the wire along the arms to allow movement of the frame side to side relative to the mounting plate. A stiffening rod can be inserted onto the strap.
45 Apparatus for hanging an article US13732530 2013-01-02 US08814105B2 2014-08-26 Morris Azad
A picture-hanging device for hanging an object such as a picture or mirror that allows a picture to be adjusted vertically after securing the picture-hanging device to a wall. The device has an elongated adjustment member, an adjustable locking head that slideably engages with the elongated adjustment member, and a cable secured to either the elongated adjustment member or the adjustable locking head. The cable secures the picture to a picture-hanging device, and the height of the picture can be adjusted relative to the position of the picture-hanging device even after the picture-hanging device has been secured to a wall. This adjustable picture-hanging device allows the user to fine tune the placement of a picture without having worry about the precise placement of the picture-hanging device, or studs in a wall. The device also prevents unnecessarily drilling new holes in a wall.

47 SYSTEM FOR HANGING MULTIPLE PICTURES IN A COLLAGE USING A GRID OF SUPPORTS US13677632 2012-11-15 US20130199068A1 2013-08-08 Jeff Southard
A system for hanging multiple pictures, photographs, picture frames, or other objects, collectively referred to herein as pictures, in a collage, using a regularly-spaced grid of pegs or other supports that are attached to a wall. Each picture includes one or more sockets, generally along the top of the picture, or one or more of its edges, although in some embodiments a picture can include sockets located elsewhere on the picture. A picture can be attached to the grid by placing it on the grid so that its sockets are supported by the pegs. In accordance with an embodiment, to add a picture to the wall, a user places the top edge of the picture over the grid until its sockets fit around the pegs, and then allows the picture to swing into the wall until it rests against the wall or other supports. To remove the picture, the user gently lifts the picture off the pegs and removes it from the wall. This process can be repeated with multiple pictures to create or change a wall-mounted collage.
