1 | Pet bed | JP2008147437 | 2008-05-08 | JP2008284377A | 2008-11-27 | ECKER WILLIAM DAVID |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for displaying a pet bed at a point of sale location. SOLUTION: A display system (200) includes display units (202, 210, 220) for displaying a plurality of mattresses (100) having different volumes and differently sized covers corresponding to the different volume mattresses. The mattresses are preferably displayed at the point of sale location restrained in a compressed state having a reduced volume compared to an expanded state, which preferably reduces the amount of space occupied for the display unit. Furthermore, the variety of sizes of the mattresses and designs of the covers can facilitate a user personalizing the pet bed according to the user's preference. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT | ||||||

Vertical storage system (10) for storing mattresses, including a plurality of vertically slidable platforms (40, 41, 42, 43, 44), a plurality of connecting members (60, 62, 64) slidably connected between the platforms (40, 41, 42, 43, 44) and a winch device (30-34, 36-38) connected to the uppermost platform (41). Lifting the uppermost platform (41) results in the raising of the next platform (42) beneath the uppermost platform (41) and so forth, lowering the uppermost platform (41) lowers all of the platforms (40, 41, 42, 43, 44) until the lowest platform (44) is at the bottom with the remaining platforms (40, 41, 42, 43) lowered until stacked upon one another. The attachement (80) of the winch (33, 34, 37, 38) to the upper platform (41) is adjustable. The platforms (40, 41, 42, 43, 44) have stoppers (45, 46, 47) to limit the depth of introduction of the mattresses. |
