141 Novel epoxy-amine adduct as curing agent for aqueous epoxy system JP32082994 1994-12-22 JPH07258387A 1995-10-09 ARUMIN PUFUAIRU; MITSUHIYAERU HENERU; SHIYUTEFUAN PETORI
PURPOSE: To obtain an aq. coating material forming a polishable coating film by using a specific aminourethane, a water-dilutive epoxy compd. and, according to circumstances, an addition product comprising an amine adduct as a curing agent of an aq. epoxy system. CONSTITUTION: An addition product consisting of (A) an aminourethane, (B) a water-dilutive epoxy compd. and, according to circumstances, (C) an amine having at least one primary amine group is prepared. The component A is obtained by reacting a compd. having a cyclic carbonate (obtained from CO 2 and any of epoxy compds.) and an amine having a primary amino group (pref., polyamine) in a carbonate and amino ratio of 1:(10-1.1). The component B is a product obtained by condensing an aliphatic polyhydroxy compd. with a mol.wt. of 200-20,000 g/mol (especially pref., polyethylene glycol) and an epoxide having two epoxy groups and an epoxy equivalent of 100-2,000 g/mol in an OH epoxy ratio of 1:(3.5-10). This ABC addition product is used as a curing agent of an aq. epoxy system to obtain an polishable coating film. COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
142 Curable carbamate-functional polymer JP17522594 1994-07-27 JPH07145347A 1995-06-06 JIYON DABURIYU REEFUASU; UORUTAA EICHI OOBOMU
PURPOSE: To obtain a curable coating composition excellent in scratch resistance, gasoline resistance, etc., by incorporating a specific carbamate-functional polymer and a compound having a plurality of functional groups which are reactive with the carbamate groups on this polymer. CONSTITUTION: A polyisocyanate (e.g. toluene diisocyanate) and an active hydrogen-containing chain extender (e.g. trimethylolpropane) are mixed and reacted. Then, the resulting polymer and a compound having a group which is reactive with this polymer and a carbamate group or a group which can be converted to a carbamate group (e.g. a hydroxyalkyl carbamate) are mixed and reacted to prepare a carbamate-functional polymer. Subsequently, this carbamate-functional polymer and a compound having a plurality of functional groups which are reactive with the carbamate groups on this polymer(e.g. a melamine-form-aldehyde resin) are incorporated as the essential components to prepare a curable coating composition. 145 Preparation of highly pure aromatic diurethane and/or polyurethane JP35278992 1992-12-14 JPH05255232A 1993-10-05 Wolfgang Friederichs; Stefan Penninger; Stefan Wershofen; ヴオルフガング・フリーデリツヒス; ステフアン・ヴエルシヨーフエン; ステフアン・ペニンゲル
PURPOSE: To obtain a highly pure aromatic diurethane and/or polyurethane by eliminating solvent and then extracting with water after aromatic diamine accompanied by release of ammonia and/or polyamine is reacted with excess unsubstituted carbamate. CONSTITUTION: Aromatic diamine and/or polyamine reacted with unsubstituted carbamate while ammonia is released prepare the highly pure aromatic diurethane and/or polyurethane. At that time, substituted carbamate, preferably an excess amount of about 10-30 moles of carbamate per mole amino group of aromatic di- and/or poly-amine is used. After the reaction is completed, the solvent is separated and by-products, excess carbamate, unreacted di- and/or poly-amine are eliminated by extraction process with water. As unsubstituted carbamate, it is preferable to use those which are produced by reacting alcohol with urea at the site. This method has easy separation under relatively gentle process conditions and is advantageous because of only one-step process. COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO

PURPOSE: To provide the subject support body having a very thin coating layer systematized at the molecular level by imparting a specific polyurethane solution to the surface of liquid is which both this polymer and the solvent thereof are insoluble followed by coating the substrate by Langmuir-Blodgett technique. CONSTITUTION: The objective support body having a very thin monolayer or a polylayer coating of an organic polymer material is provided by imparting a polyurethane solution shown by the formula (A is a skeleton of an aliphatic, aromatic aliphatic or aromatic diol; B is a skeleton of aliphatic, aromatic aliphatic or aromatic diisocyanate; (n) is 2-150; R 1-R 4 are each H's, at least one of them is a≥4C aliphatic group, R 1 and R 2, R 3 and R 4 are together form an alkylene or the like, respectively) to the surface of the liquid in which both this polyurethane and the solvent thereof are insoluble, and then coating the substrate with a desired number of coating layers by Langmuir-Blodgett technique.
