5 A HOLDER FOR PRESENTING A SHEET-LIKE MATERIAL PCT/DK9700004 1997-01-08 WO9724961A3 1997-10-23 DAHLSTROEM PREBEN
A holder for presenting a sheet-like material having substantially parallel opposite side edges and a lower edge being substantially perpendicular to the opposite side edges, the holder comprising: side guiding means for engaging the opposite side edges of the sheet-like material, and supporting means for supporting the lower edge of the sheet-like material, the side guiding means and the supporting means having dimensions so as to engage an edge of the sheet-like material along a length constituting only a fraction of the total length of the respective edge, and the mutual distance between the side guiding means being less than that between the opposite side edges of the sheet-like material in a plane state thereof, so that the sheet-like material in the holder obtains a curved shape having generatrices being substantially perpendicular to the lower edge of the sheet-like material. The present holder forces the materials into a curved shape which has the advantage that newspapers, magazines etc. may be presented fully unfolded and standing up in order for a viewer to see the full front side or page and in order for the buyer to be able to engage a predominant part of the front page of the newspaper or the like.
6 STACKABLE CAN RACK ASSEMBLY US15368422 2016-12-02 US20180153303A1 2018-06-07 Hung-Chih Kuo
A stackable can rack assembly provides a plurality of modular racks that facilitate both the loading of cans and the presentation of the cans for removal by a consumer. Multiple modular racks can be configured in a variety of stacked arrangement. A plurality of shelves are disposed at a slope to create a gravity fed arrangement to enable the cans to roll forward for dispensing. A pair of side panels support the shelves. The side panels comprise a top flat bar defined by a convex hump having a flat surface, and a bottom flat bar defined by a concave hump having a flat surface. The humps couple together and the flat surface enhance stability for stacking multiple modular racks. At least one bracket affixes to the bottom flat bar to fasten the top and bottom flat bars together. A back panel provide structural integrity to the modular racks.

A display rack for displaying one or more sheets of posterboard or other similar sheet material has vertical columns supporting vertically spaced apart tiers, each tier having a perimeter frame having side rails secured to and supported by the vertical columns and front and rear rails. Corner guards are secured to the perimeter frame at the intersections of the side rails and the front and rear rails and positioned for respectively receiving a corner of the posterboard, each corner guard having a bottom wall, a side wall, an end wall deployed for holding posterboard on the tier. Corner guards at the rear corners have side walls that taper or flare outwardly. Clips adapt the corner guards for retrofitting to display racks.
11 Self-advancing literature display rack US10748823 2003-12-29 US20050178789A1 2005-08-18 Anthony Lavery
The present invention relates to providing improved apparatus and methods for increasing the utility and attractiveness of a literature display. This and other objects of the invention are accomplished by providing a literature rack that automatically advances the remaining copies of literature to the front of the literature rack when copies of literature are removed from the rack. Further, a sloped ramp may be provided to prevent the copies of literature from flopping forward and a lifting portion may be provided to lift the front-most copy of literature above the remaining copies. Multiple energy storage devices may be used in parallel to power the self-advancing feature and may possess reduced-friction properties. Additional signage cards may also be provided to denote that all copies have been purchased from the rack and to provide further space for advertisements or information. Additionally, all of these improved functionalities may be achieved by modifying a pre-existing traditional literature rack with a rack insert possessing the improved apparatus.

14 Rotatable display stand US624778 1984-06-26 US4519510A 1985-05-28 Stanley J. Learnard
A lightweight yet sturdy article display stand is rotatable on a pedestal base, and comprises a substantially box- or cube-shaped arrangement of panels having a suitably finished outer surface and forming a back for a plurality of article-supporting pockets defined by wire members. The panels are fixed on the outer peripheral edges of one or more generally horizontal frame plates rotatably supported on the base, and comprise a part of the frame for the structure. The pocket-forming wire members encircle the panels at the location of the frame plate, defining a wrap or reinforcement for the structure. Variations of the invention include poster display and storage pockets, and bulletin board or message-card holders.
15 Publication display rack US799256 1977-05-23 US4140221A 1979-02-20 Guy D. Garland
A publication display rack is provided in which a plurality of wire baskets of uniform breadth are provided and are stacked in a vertical array at separated intervals to provide opposing pockets disposed in back to back relationship. Latching links are provided to extend from rear mounting bars forward for engagement with laterally extending cross bars parallel to the mounting bars. The latching links selectively subdivide the pockets in the baskets into subsections of ideal size to accomodate travel brochures such as are used in travel agencies. The display racks mount the travel brochures in overlapping fashion, but in a vertical arrangement to minimize the required floor space. End panels on the rack are provided for aesthetic appearance and the rack accomodates a sign mounted overhead. A plurality of racks may be mounted about a central upright pole in cantilever fashion to form a publication display.
