142 Shelving system for multimedia disc cases US11056437 2005-02-11 US20060180557A1 2006-08-17 Marshall Weinstein; Malcolm Finke
A shelving system having a front support and a back support connected to two end frames contains a plurality of U-shaped bottom supports connected to both the front support and back support. A plurality of separators are connected lengthwise to the two end frames defining channels for receiving rectangular parallelepiped articles, such as DVD cases, to be stored on the shelving system. The channels are sufficiently wide and deep enough to permit the stored articles to be tipped frontwards and rearwards for inspection, but no so wide as to allow the articles to be easily dislodged while tipping. Slide stops are connected lengthwise to the front support and back support across the top of the channels to prevent sideways shifting of the stored articles. Components of the shelving system are constructed of metal wire to reduce dust accumulation and maintenance.

148 Combined display/storage unit having alternately useable caps US64236 1998-04-23 US5984439A 1999-11-16 Henry C. Orr; Donald Crispin; James Dokoupil
A combined display and storage unit including a cubical base with four side walls, a top wall and a bottom wall, each surrounded and supported by a framework and defining an enclosed storage space. One of the side walls is hinged to provide access to the storage space. Pieces may be supported and displayed on the outer surfaces of the four side walls, preferably by constructing the side walls of slatwall material. The framework surrounding the top wall provides a square recess for alternatively receiving a transparent display case, a wire book support and a merchandise tray. The base is preferably mounted on casters for free movement.
149 Display assembly US330318 1994-10-27 US5593047A 1997-01-14 Larry C. Haugen
A display assembly is provided which includes one or more display stands, each having a T-shaped base and one or more tower members extending therefrom. Each tower member is rotatable about a rod which extends into the T-shaped base. A connector plate is used to interconnect two or more display stands in order for the interconnected display stand to assume many different configurations. One or more display racks are connected to each tower member. Each display racks accommodates products having different widths.

Affixed to the door are a forwardly projecting bottom bracket for supporting a picture frame and an upper loop for engaging the picture frame hinged rear leg. Affixed to the rear of the rack is a separable coupling member including rearwardly projecting laterally spaced arms terminating in upwardly directed fingers permitting the separable mounting of vertically and horizontally spaced devices to a peg board, vertically spaced slotted tracks or other support. The rack may be loaded from the front or top with a horizontal stack of picture frames.
152 Magazine display rack US574078 1984-01-26 US4498592A 1985-02-12 James Colucci
A magazine display rack disclosed is comprised of a plurality of cages in a trough-like housing that may be secured on a display panel or wall. Each cage, which has a sheet or sheets in front to screen all of the magazine cover except its title and issue date, may be pivoted outwardly on the front edge of the trough-like housing to insert or remove a magazine through the open bottom of the cage. All magazine cages are ganged together by a heavy wire or rod so that in pivoting the cages to remove a magazine, all magazines must be held up in their cages. Any magazine not held up in its cage will slide along the bottom of the trough-like housing, until it engages the rear corner thereof. This helps prevent unauthorized removal of a magazine from its cage.

Bookends connected by retracting springs are detachably mounted on the floor rails for slidable movement thereon longitudinally of the rack. An element constituting one longitudinal side bar of the rack frame is arranged to provide a stop engageable by books positioned between the bookends to hold the books in positions in which no part of any of the books is in contact with the horizontal surface of a support on which the rack may be seated.
