| 摘要 | PURPOSE:To prepare the titled oil soln. having a low viscocity and excellent oil solubility in a simple operation, by using a weakly acidic metal salt as catalyst in the reaction of alkylphenol with elemental sulfur to produce an alkylphenol sulfide. CONSTITUTION:Alkylphenol having an 8-22C alkyl group (e.g. nonylphenol) is made to react with elemental sulfur in the presence of a weakly acidic metal salt catalyst (e.g. sodium acetate) and then a monohydric alcohol (e.g. tridecanol), a lubricating oil medium, a (hydr)oxide of an alkaline earth metal (e.g. calcium hydroxide) and a dihydric alcohol (e.g. ethylene glycol) are added to the reaction product. Carbon dioxide gas is blown into the resultant mixture for saturation and volatile components are removed from the reaction product by distillation to obtain the oil soln. | ||
