285,493. Comptoir GÚnÚral de Vente de la Montre Roskopf Soc. Anon. Vve. C. L. Schmid et Cie. Feb. 18, 1927, [Convention date]. Winding-aparatus. -A motive spring (not shown), is rigid with the armature spindle 4 and is periodically wound by an electromagnet 2. A coupling spring 25 extends between a contact nose 18 rigid with the armature 5 and an insulating piece 19, controlling the second contact 22, which piece is loose on the armature shaft 4. The piece 19 has two notches 27, 28 separated by a shoulder 29 and the'second contact 22 is carried by a spring blade 23. Fig. 2 shows the parts when the armature 5, owing to the watch spring, has moved so far counterclockwise that contacts 18 and 22 have met to close the magnet circuit. The armature 5 thereby returns clockwise, stressing the motive spring and at the same time the nose 18 levers up the contact 22 so that the end 26 of blade 23 is forced into recess 27. At the end of an anticlockwise rotation a pin 20 on the nose 18 pushes the piece 19 back sufficiently for the end 26 to leave the recess 27 for the recess 28, closing contacts 18 and 22.
