PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydrator of a paper machine that is capable of removing foreign matters attached to a water absorption belt even when a papermaking device is small.SOLUTION: The dehydrator of a paper machine includes a washing apparatus including a washing liquid supply part and a press roller for washing. A control part controls to perform a washing treatment of the water absorption belt by the washing apparatus at least before starting or after completing a papermaking process which includes forming wet paper by filtration by a wire, dehydrating the wet paper by the water absorption belt and the press roller for dehydration, and drying the dehydrated wet paper in a subsequent dry part, and controls to make the pressing force of the water absorption belt by the press roller for washing during the washing treatment be greater than the pressing force by the press roller for dehydration during the dehydrating treatment of the wet paper in the papermaking process. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer belt that is readily washable through a normal cleaning method, since the belt has a needle-punched web with no tendency to hold small pieces of paper on its inside surface.
SOLUTION: The polymer resin-coated belts are used in the paper-making process, for example, as a sheet transfer belt, a long nip press belt or a calendering belt and include a reinforcing base material of an endless loop type having the front side and the back side. The reinforcing base material is coated on the front side with a polymer resin material, while the back side is lined with staple fiber pad 90. The staple fiber pad has no exceeding fiber end, but a smoothly molten surface, thus this surface can be easier kept clean than that of the conventional staple fiber pad.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer fabric transferring wet paper from a papermaking part to a dehydrating part and a papermaking machine using the transfer fabric. SOLUTION: This transfer fabric 1 receives wet paper made in a papermaking part from woven cloths 2 and 2' for papermaking at a wet paper receiving part A and sends the wet paper to the next dehydrating part B, and is composed of a woven net using plural layers of weft comprising a running face side made of monofilaments and a wet paper receiving face side made of yarns collecting element yarns of small diameter and forming a water-absorbing gap between the element yarns and single layer of warp comprising a monofilament or a twisted monofilament yarn. The objective papermaking machine uses the transfer fabric 1. |

PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency of the automatic guide IW device by eliminating the damage to the end of a belt due to a palm and backing up the device with a mechanical guide mechanism in an emergency such as power failure. CONSTITUTION:In an ordinary time, the position of a belt 4 in the width direction is detected with a detector 1 in a contactless state, and a palm 5 does not come into contact with the belt 4. On the generation of an abnormal situation, the detector 1 is not used, and the palm approaches the palm 5 and stably contacts the palm 5. When the operation in the ordinary time is switched into the operation in the abnormal situation-generating time, the pressures in an air pipe 9 and a diaphragm 7 are raised, and the end (a) of a guide roll 5 is transferred in a direction separated from a stand 10. The belt 4 approaches the palm 5 and starts the contact with the palm. |
