PURPOSE:To ensure a seal effect and to reduce the given space of a device, by a method wherein a powdery material, such as peat, under an atmospheric pressure is fed in a container in a condition to hold the pressure of a pressure container, and given sealing function can be provided through a simple mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A powdery material feeding device is provided with a feed hopper 13 for a powdery material under an atmospheric pressure, a duct 17 running between the hopper and an inlet 3 of a reactor 1, a pressure seal part 20 having a throttle 19 and a sluice valve 18, and means 15 and 16 which feed with a pressure a powdery material in the feed hopper 13. Thus, when the powdery material is fed with a pressure into the duct 17 with the aid of forced feeding means 15 and 16, the powdery material is pressurized with the throttle 19 throttled, and a pressure force is produced between the powdery material and the inner wall surface of the duct to firmly adhere the powdery materials to each other to reduce gaps therebetween. The powdery material must be intermittently fed with a pressure with the aid of a reciprocating plunger, but when a forced feed force on the powdery material in the pressure seal part 20 is rendered ineffective, since the pressure on the powdery material is held by closing the sluice valve 18, sealing action is maintained.

PURPOSE: To treat the waste water produced by dehydration of brown coal through non-evaporation heating economically by purifying said waste water by utilizing the adsorbing power of the excess grained coal which is ground and classified. CONSTITUTION: Raw material brown coal is charged through a conveying route 1 into a primary sieve 3 of a grinding and classifying device 2. Coarse grains are crushed with a crusher 4 and are charged together with middle and small grains into a secondary sieve 5, by which they are separated to screened coal suited for dehydration through non-evaporation heating and grained coal. The former is dehydrated with a dehydrator 7 by non-evaporation heating to product of dehydrated coal. The waste water produced in the device 7 is introduced into an adsorption tank 11, in which it is mixed with the excess grained coal charged from the device 2, and mainly the COD, phenol, etc. in the waste water are adsorbed away. The mixture of the grained coal and water subjected to the adsorption treatment is withdrawn with a sand pump 13, and is subjected to solid- liquid sepn. with a filter 14 and a centrifugal separator 15. CONSTITUTION: A coal separation apparatus comprises a main body (100), a first deck (210), a guide (220), an air-blowing fan and a vibrator (500). An upper side of the main body is formed into an inclined surface (110) which is inclined to a horizontal side and a vertical side, and the inclined surface is opened. The first deck is inclinedly arranged inside the inclined surface, and multiple first pitches (211) are formed. The multiple guides are combined in un upper side of the first deck. The air-blowing fan is installed inside the main body and blows air to the first pitches. The vibrator leads gangue particles and clean coal particles among original coal crushed material to be ejected respectively into different route by giving horizontal vibration to the first deck. The first deck includes an original coal supplying part (300) which supplies original coal crushed material.
