Технический результат - получение на бумаге прозрачных участков без образования на поверхности бумаги твердых пленок, препятствующих последующему процессу запечатывания.

Ширина линий и расстояние между линиями печатного и трехмерного растров и взаимная ориентация растров выбраны так, что они образуют муаровое изображение, при рассматривании носителя под прямым углом к поверхности покрытие полностью различимо, а муаровое изображение является скрытым. При рассматривании носителя под острым углом часть покрытия, находящаяся на поверхностях трехмерного растра, расположенных параллельно направлению наблюдения или закрытых от наблюдателя элементами трехмерного растра, не различима. В этом случае различима часть покрытия, находящаяся на поверхностях трехмерного растра, обращенных к наблюдателю и не закрытых от наблюдателя элементами трехмерного растра, в результате чего муаровое изображение становится видимым. Граница двух цветов печатного растра преимущественно располагается на наклонных участках трехмерного растра. При изменении угла наклона носителя наблюдается эффект движения границ цветных полос на носителе.
