2 with calcium aluminate and a heater 17 for a catalyst heating, in an adsorbing tank 18, an alkaline adsorbent 19 consisting of K
2 CO
3 and Ca(OH)
2 are stored, respectively. A waste gas from an oven 1 is inducted through an exhaust duct 8 into the vessel 9 to bubble and the alkali components such as NH
3 are absorbed, and then in the vessel 12, the acid components such as SOX are absorbed. Further, CO, hydrocarbons and NO are catalytically oxidized in the catalyst tank 15, and remaining NOX is finally removed in the adsorbing tank 18, thus a purified gas is discharged through exhaust port 20.
