CONSTITUTION: One end of a porous body having affinity to the hard-to-evaporate liquid contg. easy-to-evaporate materials is immersed in said liquid, and said body is suspended to the outside beyond the wall of a vessel. As a result, the easy-to-evaporate materials contained therein are allowed to evaporate and dissipate in the stage that said liquid ascends and descends in the porous body on account of capillarity, and therefore the refined hard-to-evaporate liquid is obtained from the other end suspended in the lower part beyond the outside part of the vessel wall. Fluorinated hydrocarbon, chlorinated hydrocarbon etc. are examples for the above-mentioned easy to evaporate materials and high b.p. mineral oils, animal and vegetable oils, etc. are examples for the hard-to-evaporate liquid
