CONSTITUTION: A curable resin composition comprises a reaction product of (A) a polyester precondensate with an acid value of 40W200 synthesized from (a) a dicarboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, (b) a vegetable oil fatty acid, and (c) a polyhydric alcohol and (B) an unsaturated monomer having glycidyl groups. Herein, as (a), maleic anhydride, terephthalic acid and the like or an anhydride thereof, as (b), soybean oil, palm oil or the like, as (c), ethylene glycol or the like are mentioned. Moreover, by mixing and dissolving below 400pts.wt., pref. below 100pts.wt. or an ethylenically unsaturated monomer with 100pts.wt. of the above described curable resin composition, a curable resin composition with low viscosity and low volatility can be obtained.
