CONSTITUTION: Strain gauges are adhered onto the bottom of a washing machine. Two groups of resistors 22 of different section are printed on the substrate 21 of the strain gauge with three lead wires 25, 26, 27 wired thereat. These three wires 25, 26, 27 have different resistance variation characteristics and smaller resistance variation rate between the wires 25 and 26 and larger resistance variation rate between the wires 27. The bearing voltage between wires 25 and 26 shows a down curve to open a feed water solenoid valve by the solenoid of a thyristor before the water reaches predetermined lavel Ho. When the water reaches the level Ho, the thyristor becomes non conductive state so as to stop feeding water.
