CONSTITUTION: Fine powder 2 of YBa
2 Cu
3 O
x formed through a solid phase reaction method is coated on one or both sides of a woven fabric 1 formed of Si-Ti-C-O ceramic fiber as thick as 5∼6μm through a plasma spray. Next, the fabric 1 is heated at 950°C for eighteen hours and sintered at 1000°C for one hour. Then, a silver stabilizing layer 3 is evaporated and deposited on the outer face of the sintered layer as thick as 1μm to form a shielding material 4 possessing a superconductive property. By processes, the shielding material 4 has a critical temperature of 85K, so that it has a sufficient high magnetic effect even at the temperature of liquid nitrogen, 75K.
