CONSTITUTION: A blade 100 has a plurality of relatively thick, super critical sections, and each section has a parabolic leading edge 115, a small camber (warp) extended from the leading edge 115 to a 40% chord, a gradual upper surface pressure recovery region extended from the 40% chord to a trailing edge, and a concave lower surface extended from 40% chord to the trailing edge for generating a specified lifting force. The value of the thickness ratio (thickness/length) of the airfoil section is changed from 2 to 7.5. This blade has the same aerodynamic performance as in the case of NACA 16 series blade. In addition, since the leading edge radius of the leading edge 115 is larger than that of the NACA series, damage by a foreign object is minimized and, since the trailing edge is more gradual compared with the NACA 16 series, not many manufacturing problems occur.
