A chitosan derivative produced by chemically modifying chitosan, especially N-succinylated chitosan can be sufficiently used as a medical material. Further, by combining chitosan derivative, practical use is clinically carried out. This constitution provides adhesion, flexibility, durability, simplicity of handling, preserving ability, bacteria shielding ability, affinity with cell, bleeding stopping ability, excellent sewing ability, peeling ability from a wound surface, and beside moisture content vaporization controllability.
