CONSTITUTION: A fuel composition composed of (A) 100 part by weight of a hydrocarbon fuel and (B) 0.001W0.5 parts, pref. 0.01W0.2 parts of a low-temperature fluidity improving agent consisting of a copolymer of (a) an ethylenic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid, its anhydride or its derivative, and (b) an α-olefin having 20W60 carbon atoms in a molecule. An α-olefin having a carbon number of less than 20 gives a copolymer having only poor effect to improve the low-temperature fluidity, and an α-olefin having a carbon number of larger than 60 is not recommended by its unavailability. When the amount of the copolymer is less than 0.001 part, the fluidity-improving effect is not sufficient, and the amount higher than 0.5 parts is not efficient for the further improvement of the low-temperature fluidity.
