Then, AC voltage is applied to a piezoelectric transducer 15 to oscillate said transducer 15 along its thickness. The resulting oscillation along the thickness is amplified by a horn oscillator 16 and transmitted to a radial oscillator 14 by a rod 18 for the transmission of oscillation. Then, the radial oscillation of the oscillator 14 excited by longitudinal oscillation transmitted through the transmission rod 18 forms the flexure oscillation of a nozzle plate 11 as shown in the drawing, since the nozzle plate 11 is relatively soldered to the oscillator 14 as shown in the drawing. Hence, a nozzle 12 is largely oscillated along its axial direction, a liquid inside the chamber 8 presses the vicinity of the nozzle 12 only, and the liquid is sprayed through the nozzle 12.
