The output of the circuit VD and the output of the second winding of the CT are multiplied MP and the result is averaged in an LPF F. Meanwhile the output of the LPF is compared with the three reference voltages, which are obtained by dividing the voltage that is the square SQ of the output CD3 and whose values become sequentially higher.
