CONSTITUTION: A sheet molding is first formed by using a zirconia type co- precipitated raw material. Electrode patters are then applied and formed on both surfaces of the sheet molding 1a by using electrode-forming paste which can form an electrode 2 for measurement and an electrode 3 for reference on the resulted molding. The sheet molding 1b ground and worked with an atm. introducing hole 6, the sheet molding 1c formed with a gas introducing hole 7 for measurement and the plural sheet moldings 1d, 1e are laminated. On the other hand,a heater molding B is formed by using a powder mixture essentially consisting of the forsterite, forming the sheet molding 4a of this powder mixture, forming resistor paste which can be made into a heating resistor 5 on the surface thereof, and laminating the sheet molding 4b essentially consisting of the other forsterite on the pattern. The oxygen sensor molding A and the heater molding B are then laminated, by which the simultaneous calcination is enabled.
