2 and 5% Al
2 O
3 to manufacture the ceramic-made nozzle 1 having good electric conductivity at high temp. and containing MgO as the essential component, and the electrode part 12 is fitted to the outside thereof. At the time of pouring the low temp. Molten metal or solid-liquid co-existent semi-molten slurry from inlet 100 of the nozzle 1 and pouring into a mold, etc., from outlet 102 thereof, the electrode 3 is submerged into the molten metal or the slurry in the vessel 2 and the electric current is conducted between the electrode 3 and the electrode part 12, and by heating the electric conductive ceramic nozzle body 10 with the electric conduction, the low temp. molten metal or the slurry-state molten metal can be discharged from the nozzle 1 without any clogging caused by solidifying at the outlet 102 of the nozzle 1.
