In this ozonizer edge parts of opposite two sides of dielectric 2 are protruded from electrode 4 in the gas flowing direction, and U-shaped reinforcing insulating members 14 which double as spacers are attachable and detachably arranged at edge parts of other two sides of dielectri 2. Thus, the insulation of M-R and N-S parts having a tendency to dielectric breakdown due to a high electric field is effectively improved to enhance the reliability of the ozonizer, and the ozonizer can be operated at a higher voltage.
