CONSTITUTION: A head switch pulse signal from the servo circuit 7 of the source equipment 1 is inputted to the servo circuit 25 of the editor equipment 14, and rotary cylinder having rotary magnetic heads 20(AL), 21(AR) of the editor equipment 14 rotates in synchronism with the head switch pulse signal. Therefore, during a time when the rotary magnetic head 2(AL) or 3(AR) of the source 1 is in contact with a magnetic tape, those 15(AL), 16(AR) of the editor equipment 14 contact the magnetic tape. Thus, the source equipment 1 and the editor equipment 14 are operated in synchronism through a head switch pulse signal. Output signals from a pre-amplifier circuit 4, 5 go through recording amplifier circuits 26, 27 and recorded on the magnetic tape by rotary magnetic heads 15(AL), 16(AR).
