CONSTITUTION: Upon throw-in of a changeover switch 41 to the fixed contact 41b under travel on highway, a motor 46 will rotate forward to incline a mirror board 30 downward and maintain at the lower end, thereby a light indicating the content on a display will pass through an opening directly thus to focus the indicating content as an upright imaginary image onto the inner face of front glass 13 without darkening. When disturbing light such as sunshine or headlight of facing car is intruding through the front glass, a switch 41a is thrown in to rotate the motor 46 reversely thus to incline the mirror board upward and maintain at the upper end thereby the light from the display will pass through the opening and focused as an upright imaginary image onto the mirror face without darkening to be confirmed through the steering wheel by slightly moving the eye.
