CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 14 outputs a control signal shown as (c). Such control signal is not applied to a solenoid coil 13 during such a period before and after the timings wherein a voltage waveform of full-wave rectified power forms a trough and the power is applied to the solenoid coil 13 in such a timing where a voltage waveform reaches a value near a crest. Thereby, the solenoid coil 13 is repeated by subjected to excitation and non-excitation within a short period of time, namely in every half-cycle of alternative power sent from a power supply 10. Therefore, sufficient dither effect is given to the movable iron core of a magnet apparatus to be driven by the excitation of coil and the movable iron core is accurately operated.
