As a result, the minute particles of the fluorine resin are bound together through sintering during the above drying process forming three-dimensional network structure in the paste layer. Therefore, the active material is satisfactorily supported during its softening process, and any overuse of the active material is prevented by suppressing diffusion of sulfuric acid near the grid.
