When the nose side of the arm 24 passes through some point of the chassis 9, the ink roller 23 installed at the nose of the arm 24 is moved in the counter-clockwise direction centering around a pin 27 of a lever 26, while a roller surface of the roller 23 and a selective surface of the type ring 4 are contacted at that time and the ink is applied, then the type ring 4 is further lowered and printing is conducted.
