CONSTITUTION: When a remote control signal is incoming to a photodetector unit 1, a remote control signal reception section 17 decodes the signal and gives a signal to an input terminal A of a mode detection section 25. The mode detection section 25 receives the mode state of a present receiver mode state at its input terminal B from a Q' terminal of a mode set flip-flop 19 and gives an output pulse to an output terminal C or D from the input of the both A and B when the state is different from the A and B. The pulse is fed to a mis-operation tone generating section 26 and a mis-operation message generating section 27 via an OR circuit 24. The mis-operation tone generating section 26 outputs a warning tone informing that the state of the remote controller and the receiver is different from a speaker 10 via a voice synthesizing section 8 and a voice amplifier section 9. The mis-operation message generating section 27 generates a message of mis-operation and it is displayed on a cathode ray tube 11 via a mis- operation signal message synthesizing section 6.
