CONSTITUTION: A spinning lubricant is prepared by mixing 70W85wt% alkyl phosphate (K salt) (A) having an 8W18C alkyl group, a phosphorization degree of 0.6W1.0, and an acid value 0W50, e.g., potassium lauryl phosphate, with one or more slickeners (B) which are liquid at ordinary temperature, selected from water-insoluble higher fatty acid ester derivative (e.g., methyl laurate), animal or vegetable oils (e.g., sesame oil), and mineral oils (e.g., liquid paraffin) and an emulsifier (C) (e.g., POE-added nonylphenol ether). A preferred mixing ratio of components B to C is 1 or more. The spinning lubricant is applied in an amount of 0.06W0.4wt% to a synthetic fiber.
