CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. thermoplastic styrene rubber (e.g. a styrene/butadiene block copolymer or a styrene/isoprene block copolymer), 50W100pts.wt. arom. oil for rubber [e.g. 1-xylyl-1,3-diphenylbutane or bis(α-methylbenzene)xylene] and 50W300pts.wt. tackifying resin (e.g. terpene resin or rosin) are mixed together to obtain the desired hot-melt adhesive compsn. This compsn. is suitable for use in bonding a reclaimed rubber sheet to a polyolefin sheet having a parting agent deposited on the surface thereof.
