CONSTITUTION: Due to seismic oscillation or the like, a sensig body metal ball 5 is kicked up to lift a valve stem 4 then a rubber valve 13 stops a flow of gas. When flowing gas again, tightening operation while turning a reset handle 14 permits the conduction of gas. However, when a leak of gas is caused at the point end part in a gas piping, fully tightening action of the reset handle 14 closes a gas hole 2 to stop the flow of gas, then gas at its inlet side flows in a bypass 12 to push a movable valve 10, and a fixed magnet 11, being of the same polarity as a top magnet of the movable valve 10, is jumped up toward the above to kick the sensing body metal ball 5, push up the valve stem 4 and close the gas hole 2. In this way, a shut-off valve can not be reset capable of preventing an accident of live gas.
