Then, a drum 1 is formed so as to have a structure permitting fastening with bolts, etc., through joint support plates 7 and joint support rods 8. Thereafter, a rear lid 3 provided with a chimney connecting port 4 adapted for engagement with a chimney 6 and with a pyroligneous acid output port 5 and a front lid 2 provided with a vetilating hole lid 9 and a fuel input port lid 10 are each formed in such a manner that the lid is capable of being inserted into and engaged with the inner rim of each of the open portions disposed at both ends in a horizontal direction of the drum 1. Thus, the title carbonizing oven is fabricated. For example, the oven may be relocated at will to a place suitable for production of charcoal, where the title oven is built up and charcoal is produced from various raw materials.
