CONSTITUTION: A worked product 1 is put on the carrier table 502 and is fixed at a fixing part 2. The slide cylinder 303 is pushed up by a hydraulic driver 301, and the filler 304 is made touch the tongue edge 102 of the worked product 1; hereby, the lever 306 is inclined correspondingly to the degree of distortion. A hydraulic driver 401 is operated to push the wedge 402 down and gives a ten-fold flow rate for example to the working rod. The fluid is introduced into the cylinder through the plunger and is tight sealed. Next, the fluid acts on the lever 704 which pushes the straightening bar 703 out upward. At the same time, the slide cylinder 701 is pushed up to the straightening position. The straightening bar 703 is given a displacement necessary for the straight ening work; and hence, the straightening bar 703 bends the tongue 101 of the worked product 1 in the direction opposite to the distortion at a position that above stated upward motion comes to the end. The worked product 1 is held at this position for a while, and then, the slide cylinder 701 is pulled down.
