The water-soluble salt can be easily diluted to a desired concentration with water. The agent can be easily and safely applied while preventing the generation of disagreeable odor and has low toxicity to fish. Furthermore, it can be applied to mountains, secluded place in the mountains, golf links, etc., by remote operation. The amount of the active component is preferably 100 to 1,000g per 1m
3 of the soil to be treated.
