CONSTITUTION: A motor 26 is operated to drive a pump 24 and a nutrient solution is fed under pressure to a water sprinkler 16. A driving shaft is simultaneously rotated to rotate a fan 29. Thereby, air in a culture vessel 10 is sucked from air suction ports 27 and blown on the motor 26. As a result, air streams blown with the fan 29 are used to air-cool the motor 26. Heat is then received from the motor and air is warmed and admitted from a vent hole 32 into the vessel 10 to warm also rhizosphere parts of cultured plants supported by a culture panel 12 and simultaneously warm the nutrient solution. When the outside air is increased to a high temperature in the summer period, the vent port 32 is closed with a shielding plate 42 and air after air-cooling the motor 26 is released from a net 44 to the outside of the vessel 10. Thereby, the interior of the vessel 10 is air-cooled.
