CONSTITUTION: At a grill 1 of the outlet are provided a space 3 for holding a pack of aromatic 2 (forest bath agent) and a regulating door 4 which is capable of adjusting the control of the emission of the fragrance. With the space 3 for an aromatic 2 provided at a lower position of the outlet grille 1, the fragrance, volatilized from the pack of aromatic 2, is carried by the current of air from a cross flow fan 6 and spread all over the room. By equipping an air conditioner with the fragrance emission device the room is scented with the aroma all over and, moreover, the fragrance serves to suppress the disagreeable smell emitted from within the air conditioner through circulation of air at the earliest stage of the operator. Forest bath agent also has a fungicidal effect and a favorable effect on the health; is inhibits the propagation of molds and bacteria inside the air conditioner; is also exhibits an air-cleaning effect in the room.
