CONSTITUTION: A main switch SW1 is connected to a control circuit 58 via relay 50, jam counter 56 and jam solenoid 57. DC power sources 54, 55, reset switch 59, timer 60, etc. are connected to the control circuit 58. Then, when jam occurs, a jam counter 56 counts jammed paper number and a jam solenoid 57 connects the reset switch 59 to NC terminal. The timer 60 then holds the DC power source to the control circuit 58 for 5 minutes after the occurrence of the jam and the relay 50 changes over its contact to the NC side to change over the power source line to the transformer 51. Hence, even during jam processing, the control circuit 58 is maintained of the operation state, so that the set sheet number and copying sheet number having electonically stored are kept stored. The processing is made re- openable by manual changing-over of the reset switch 59.
