The 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid is preferably applied to the plant by a method for applying to stems and leaves of the plant body and the compound expressed by formula I is preferably applied to the surface of soil. The amount of spraying is preferably within the range of 1,000W5,000ppm for the above-mentioned compound and 1W10kg/ha for the compound expressed by formula I.
