| 摘要 | PURPOSE: To provide a large-size laminated airfoil which is excellent in weight adequate to a high bypass engine and can endure normal impact and motion conditions in relation to a fan blade in an aircraft turbo fan engine. CONSTITUTION: An airfoil with a wide chip chord is comprised of alternating layers of thin metallic foil 28 and elastomeric layers 30. The exterior surfaces of the airfoil are comprised of the thin, metallic foil 28. The airfoil has a metal sheath 20 secured to the leasing edge.
